Experiments
I used to call this page “Projects,” but I’ve switched terms and now prefer “Experiments.”
I like the term “experiment” more than “project” for a few reasons:

Upcoming Experiments
Past Experiments
I like the term “experiment” more than “project” for a few reasons:
- It doesn’t sound like work, so I’m more likely to pursue it.
- It bakes in the possibility of failure, so I’m more likely to attempt other experiments in the future.
- It is more flexible and open-ended, so I’m more likely to deviate and adapt rather than end the project.
Current Experiments
- Write down the most “storyworthy” moment of each day (h/t Matthew Dicks)
- Create my own CLE course and get it approved (coming soon: www.worstCLEever.com)
- Grow my Twitter account to 1,000 followers
Upcoming Experiments
- Get article published in major publication by reaching out to editors (h/t James Clear)
- Write a book about lawyers who left law
Past Experiments
- I hosted chocolate tastings. Like wine tastings, but with bean-to-bar chocolate.
- I dabbled in inventing and licensing products with InventRight.
